Paris is compact enough to walk and complicated enough that you will still check the map. The Métro, the RER out to the airports and museums that now expect a timed ticket on your phone all assume a connection you may not have the moment you step off the train.
Most travellers use data here for transit routing, for timed-entry tickets kept in a phone wallet, and for finding a table without wandering. If the trip continues to Nice, Lyon or the Alps, the same eSIM covers all of France.
This is an eSIM for France. It works everywhere in the country, Paris included — there is no Paris-only plan, and you would not want one. See all France plans

FAQs for your travel eSIM
Is this eSIM only for Paris?
No. It is an eSIM for France, and it works across the whole country, Paris included. That is deliberate: plans are sold per country, so you stay connected when you leave Paris instead of losing data at the edge of town.
Will my phone work with the Paris eSIM?
Any eSIM-compatible phone bought in the last few years (iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, recent Samsung Galaxy, etc.) works with our Paris travel eSIM. Use our compatibility checker if you are unsure.
When does the Paris eSIM start counting?
Validity starts the moment your travel eSIM connects to a network in Paris, not when you buy it. You can install it before your trip without losing days.
Do I keep my regular number while using the Paris eSIM?
Yes. Your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS on your normal number. The Paris eSIM only handles mobile data, so WhatsApp, maps and apps all run on your eSIM data.
Can I tether or use a hotspot in Paris?
Yes, every Paris eSIM plan allows tethering and personal hotspot, so you can share your eSIM data with a laptop or another device.
What happens if I run out of eSIM data in Paris?
Top it up from your account: open the eSIM and tap Top up. The extra data is added to the same eSIM — no new QR to scan and no shop to visit. If your plan doesn't support top-ups or has already expired, buy a new Paris plan instead.
Is the Paris eSIM refundable?
If you haven't installed your eSIM (installing means scanning the QR) or activated it, and the plan hasn't expired, we refund it in full: contact support with your order number. Once it is installed or activated it can't be refunded because you changed your mind — but if it isn't working, contact us and we'll sort it out.
