Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. On later visits, the browser sends that information back to the site, which makes it possible to remember your preferences or keep you signed in.

This policy also covers other technologies that serve an equivalent purpose, such as your browser’s local storage, described in section 6.

2. Who uses cookies on this site

The controller of the first-party cookies is the owner of the website, whose full identification details appear in the Legal Notice. Third-party cookies are set by the providers identified in the sections below, each under its own policy.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the site to work and to deliver the service you request. They do not require your consent and are never used for advertising or tracking.

• Language cookie — first party — session: remembers which language the site is being served in so navigation stays consistent. It is set when the language served differs from the one your browser advertises. It expires when you close your browser.
• vamosdata-geo-currency — first party — 30 days: sets the currency shown to you by default based on your region. It stores only the resulting currency code (for example EUR or GBP) — never your country or your IP address.
• Authentication session cookie — first party — for as long as the session stays active: keeps you signed in so you can reach your account and your orders without identifying yourself on every page. It only exists if you have created an account and signed in.

4. Analytics cookies

These let us understand in aggregate how the site is used (which pages are visited, where the purchase process is abandoned) so we can improve it. They are only set if you expressly accept them in the cookie banner; if you reject them they are not loaded and the site works normally.

• Usage analytics cookie — third party (PostHog) — approximately 12 months: measures page views, exits and the journey to purchase, and can record the browsing session to diagnose usability problems.

Analytics data is hosted on servers within the European Union. In session recordings we mask the fields and text that may contain personal data (email address, QR code, activation code and eSIM identifiers), so they are not recorded.

We also use aggregate audience and performance metrics provided by our hosting provider, which use no cookies and no persistent identifiers and therefore require no consent.

5. Third-party cookies during payment

To pay, we redirect you to the Stripe payment gateway, which runs on its own domain. Stripe sets its own cookies there, needed to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are outside our domain and our control and are governed by Stripe’s privacy and cookie policies.

6. Browser local storage

We also use your browser’s local storage. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent to the server with every request and stays on your device until you delete it.

• vamosdata-cookie-consent: records whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every visit.
• vamosdata-currency: records the currency you chose manually, which takes precedence over the one detected from your region.

7. Legal basis, and how to give or withdraw consent

Strictly necessary cookies rely on the exemption in article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI), as they are essential to provide the service you request. Analytics cookies are set solely on the basis of your consent.

The first time you visit the site we show a banner where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting and does not limit your use of the site or your ability to buy.

You can change your decision at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops any further analytics collection; to delete cookies already stored, follow section 9.

8. International data transfers

Data collected through analytics cookies is processed on servers located in the European Union, so it does not involve an international transfer.

Cookies set by the payment gateway may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are made with the safeguards required by the General Data Protection Regulation. Full detail is in the corresponding section of our Privacy Policy.

9. How to block or delete cookies in your browser

Regardless of the choices we offer in the banner, every browser lets you block cookies or delete those already stored from its settings, usually under privacy or browsing data.

Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, may prevent you from staying signed in or from having your language and currency preferences remembered.

10. Changes to this policy, and contact

We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable rules change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
