Phuket is Thailand's largest island and the main gateway to the Andaman coast. Beaches, piers and hotels are spread across a long, hilly island, so moving between Patong, the old town and the ferry terminals is a maps-and-ride-hailing exercise from the moment you land.
Plan on using data for boat and tour bookings, for ride-hailing rather than negotiating at a taxi rank, and for staying reachable while island-hopping onward to Phi Phi or Krabi — the same eSIM keeps working anywhere in Thailand.
This is an eSIM for Thailand. It works everywhere in the country, Phuket included — there is no Phuket-only plan, and you would not want one. See all Thailand plans

FAQs for your travel eSIM
Is this eSIM only for Phuket?
No. It is an eSIM for Thailand, and it works across the whole country, Phuket included. That is deliberate: plans are sold per country, so you stay connected when you leave Phuket instead of losing data at the edge of town.
Will my phone work with the Phuket eSIM?
Any eSIM-compatible phone bought in the last few years (iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, recent Samsung Galaxy, etc.) works with our Phuket travel eSIM. Use our compatibility checker if you are unsure.
When does the Phuket eSIM start counting?
Validity starts the moment your travel eSIM connects to a network in Phuket, not when you buy it. You can install it before your trip without losing days.
Do I keep my regular number while using the Phuket eSIM?
Yes. Your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS on your normal number. The Phuket eSIM only handles mobile data, so WhatsApp, maps and apps all run on your eSIM data.
Can I tether or use a hotspot in Phuket?
Yes, every Phuket eSIM plan allows tethering and personal hotspot, so you can share your eSIM data with a laptop or another device.
What happens if I run out of eSIM data in Phuket?
Top it up from your account: open the eSIM and tap Top up. The extra data is added to the same eSIM — no new QR to scan and no shop to visit. If your plan doesn't support top-ups or has already expired, buy a new Phuket plan instead.
Is the Phuket eSIM refundable?
If you haven't installed your eSIM (installing means scanning the QR) or activated it, and the plan hasn't expired, we refund it in full: contact support with your order number. Once it is installed or activated it can't be refunded because you changed your mind — but if it isn't working, contact us and we'll sort it out.
