Install your eSIM on Google Pixel

Open Settings → Network & internet
Open Settings and tap Network & internet.

Tap SIMs (or "+ Add SIM")
Tap SIMs, then "+ Download a SIM instead?".

Scan your QR code
Follow the on-screen instructions and scan the QR we sent by email.

Name the eSIM
Give the eSIM a name (e.g. "Travel") and confirm.

Turn on mobile data and roaming
Select the new eSIM and enable Mobile data and Roaming.
Install with one tap
If your confirmation email shows an “Install on Android” button, tap it on this phone and the eSIM installer opens with everything already filled in. It needs Android 10 or later with Google Play services up to date, it does not work from WhatsApp, and phones sold without Google services never support it — in those cases use the QR code or enter the details by hand.
Prefer to type it in?
Choose “Enter activation code” instead of scanning. Most Android phones accept the whole code from your confirmation email in a single field — the long one starting with LPA:1$. If your phone shows two separate fields instead, use the SM-DP+ address and activation code listed underneath it.
Troubleshooting
Most install issues fall into one of these.
I can't find "Add eSIM" in Settings
Your device may not support eSIM, or the menu name is different. Search Settings for "eSIM" or "SIM manager". If nothing appears, run our device check.
The QR code won't scan
Improve lighting and contrast, make the QR fill the camera frame, or display it on a larger screen. As a fallback, tap "Enter activation code" and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your email.
Installed, but no signal at my destination
Open the eSIM line in Settings, enable Mobile data and Roaming for it, and toggle airplane mode on/off. If it still fails, set the APN by hand — your value is in your order confirmation email and on your account page.
Can I keep my main SIM active at the same time?
Yes. Dual-SIM Android phones let you keep your home line for calls/SMS while using the VamosData eSIM for data. Just choose the eSIM as the default for mobile data.
Can I move the eSIM to another phone?
No. eSIM profiles are tied to the device they were installed on and can't be transferred.
I tapped the install link and nothing happened
One-tap install needs Android 10 or later with Google Play services up to date, and it only opens from apps like Chrome, Gmail and Messages — not from WhatsApp. Phones sold without Google services never support it. Try opening the link in Chrome, or use the QR code or the activation code from your email.
