No. It is an eSIM for Turkey, and it works across the whole country, Istanbul included. That is deliberate: plans are sold per country, so you stay connected when you leave Istanbul instead of losing data at the edge of town.
Will my phone work with the Istanbul eSIM?

Do I keep my regular number while using the Istanbul eSIM?
Yes. Your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS on your normal number. The Istanbul eSIM only handles mobile data, so WhatsApp, maps and apps all run on your eSIM data.
Can I tether or use a hotspot in Istanbul?
Yes, every Istanbul eSIM plan allows tethering and personal hotspot, so you can share your eSIM data with a laptop or another device.
What happens if I run out of eSIM data in Istanbul?
Top it up from your account: open the eSIM and tap Top up. The extra data is added to the same eSIM — no new QR to scan and no shop to visit. If your plan doesn't support top-ups or has already expired, buy a new Istanbul plan instead.
Is the Istanbul eSIM refundable?
If you haven't installed your eSIM (installing means scanning the QR) or activated it, and the plan hasn't expired, we refund it in full: contact support with your order number. Once it is installed or activated it can't be refunded because you changed your mind — but if it isn't working, contact us and we'll sort it out.
