Is this eSIM only for Dubai?
No. It is an eSIM for United Arab Emirates, and it works across the whole country, Dubai included. That is deliberate: plans are sold per country, so you stay connected when you leave Dubai instead of losing data at the edge of town.
Will my phone work with the Dubai eSIM?
Any eSIM-compatible phone bought in the last few years (iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, recent Samsung Galaxy, etc.) works with our Dubai travel eSIM. Use our compatibility checker if you are unsure.
When does the Dubai eSIM start counting?
Validity starts the moment your travel eSIM connects to a network in Dubai, not when you buy it. You can install it before your trip without losing days.
Do I keep my regular number while using the Dubai eSIM?
Yes. Your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS on your normal number. The Dubai eSIM only handles mobile data, so WhatsApp, maps and apps all run on your eSIM data.
Can I tether or use a hotspot in Dubai?
Yes, every Dubai eSIM plan allows tethering and personal hotspot, so you can share your eSIM data with a laptop or another device.
What happens if I run out of eSIM data in Dubai?
Top it up from your account: open the eSIM and tap Top up. The extra data is added to the same eSIM — no new QR to scan and no shop to visit. If your plan doesn't support top-ups or has already expired, buy a new Dubai plan instead.
Is the Dubai eSIM refundable?
If you haven't installed your eSIM (installing means scanning the QR) or activated it, and the plan hasn't expired, we refund it in full: contact support with your order number. Once it is installed or activated it can't be refunded because you changed your mind — but if it isn't working, contact us and we'll sort it out.
